Creating a Safe Space for Healing & Self-Discovery

My Why……

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to understanding people—their emotions, their struggles, and the stories they carry. Over the years, I’ve seen how unspoken family dynamics and deep-seated patterns shape the way women move through the world.

That’s why I created Healistry —a space where you can untangle the past, release what no longer serves you, and step into a life that reflects who you truly are, not just who you were told to be.

From Navigating My Own Path to Helping You Find Yours

The Starting Point: The Weight of Expectations

Growing up, I learned early how to read a room. I knew when to keep quiet, when to step up, and when to shrink myself to keep the peace. Like so many women, I carried the weight of unspoken family expectations—always being the strong one, the fixer, the one who had it all together. But inside, I often felt lost, unsure of where I ended and where everyone else’s needs began.

The Discovery: Turning Insight into Purpose

Therapy became the space where I finally exhaled. It gave me the tools to understand myself, rewrite old narratives, and step into my own voice. And that’s exactly what I strive to create for my clients today—a space where you can process, unlearn, and rebuild on your own terms. At Healistry LLC, I help women untangle the past, break free from the weight of family expectations, and finally step into a life that feels like their own.

The Challenge: Breaking the Cycle

It wasn’t until I started truly examining my own patterns—why I struggled to set boundaries, why guilt followed me every time I put myself first, why certain relationships left me drained—that I realized just how much of myself I had been sacrificing. I saw how these patterns weren’t just mine; they had been passed down, shaped by generations before me. And I knew if I wanted something different for my life, I had to break the cycle.

You Don’t Have to Keep Carrying This Alone

The patterns you’re struggling with didn’t start with you—but you have the power to change them. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, and you don’t need to have all the answers right now. All you need is a space to start, to breathe, and to explore a new way forward—one step at a time.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Training Matters—But So Does Real-Life Experience

Having the right credentials means you’re in good hands. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I’ve spent years studying human behavior, mental health, and the best ways to help people heal. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ensuring you get tools that truly work.

But therapy isn’t just about theories and techniques—it’s about understanding what it feels like to be in your shoes. My personal and professional journey has given me deep insight into the struggles of navigating family expectations, anxiety, and self-doubt. I don’t just offer clinical expertise—I offer real, compassionate support to help you break free from the patterns holding you back.
